GENERAL INFORMATION

You're invited to Valhalla

Northgate Open House – August 27, from 7:00-8:00 pm. Parents, please have access to your student’s schedule.

***ATTENTION***

Parents, the use of e-cigarettes is a problem in schools across the country. Students are using these devices with liquids that contain illegal drugs. In an attempt to reduce the use of these dangerous products, the three high schools are increasing the punishment for use or possession on school property or buses. A student caught using or in possession will be given 5 days out of school suspension for a first offense. For a second offense we will hold a hearing for possible placement at the alternative school.

In addition to an increase in punishment, the Coweta County School System will begin a new educational program in order to heighten the awareness of the dangers of e-cigarettes.

Baseball meeting for all players who are going to tryout in January.  This is a mandatory meeting.   The meeting will be next Thursday, August, 29 @3:45 in the Media Center.  The meeting should only take about 30 minutes or so.  The meeting is NOT mandatory for guys who play football; however, it is imperative that they either come by to see me or communicate with one of the coaches that he is going to be trying out, so that we can get all of their information.  This is VERY important, so coaches, please help me with those football guys so we can get their information as well as their parents' information so that we can communicate with them
